MOPAC Clever, MO Depot
The Nov./Dec. 2010 edition of The OZARKS MOUNTAINEER magazine has a very interesting article titled "Clever's Vanishing Railroad Depot" I purchased the magazine at Borders Book Store for $3.95 plus tax. The following is quoted from page 30: " In 1972, Clever's Mayor Howard Little saved the depot from the wrecking ball by moving the building to his farm. Mayor Little built a barn around it to preserve it for future generations. The building was soon forgotten and there it has remained, hidden from the world, for over three decades." The two page article goes on to mention the current owners are contacting the Missouri Pacific Historical Society in hopes of preserving and renovating the historical building. Joe G. Thanks for the tour
I would just like to take a minute to thank one of your volunteers, John Wollard, for giving me an impromptu tour of your museum today, April 27th. I was out and about and had some time to kill so I mosied on over to take a look at the steam engine and John just happened to be working there today. He was very gracious and gave me a personal tour that lasted close to an hour and he was very friendly and very knowledgable and it was greatly appreciated. I mentioned to him as I was leaving if you folks could use some help and he said you were always looking for more help so I guess I'm volunteering and would like to lend a hand. Feel free to either email me or better yet just call me on my cell at 417-209-4428 and ask for Jerry Tracy. I look forward to hearing from someone and thanks again John for the excellant tour.

Clever Depot
This article on the MOPAC Clever, MO Depot was very interesting. We live in Nixa and would like to know if any progress has been made on future preservation of the depot.
