FIRST TRAIN ARRIVAL IN SPRINGFIELD, MO
April 21, 1870 the first train chugged into North Springfield at the Commercial Street station. They had to cut the brush so people could get close to the train. Fast forward to April 2022. The Library Center on S. Campbell is hosting a 16' X 8' X 12" display of memorabilia from The Railroad Historical Museum, Inc. The display will continue until April 30th
